Writing a Good SEO Article: 4 Tips

It’s not easy to write a good SEO article, or is it?

If you are trying to increase traffic to your website the best (and only) way to attract the most search engine algorithms is through the use of search engine optimized (or SEO) articles. However, the ins and outs of SEO can be as tough to learn as a foreign language for a lot of people.
Here, I will review four important tips to keep in mind as you begin to build the articles and backlinks that you need to your website.

TIP 1: Spend Time Researching Keywords

SEO is useless if you don‚t use the right keywords for your product/service/website to attract the types of customers that you want and need. Determining keyword phrases, however, can be tricky so it is important to use programs such as Google‚Äôs Keyword Analyzer to help you along.
Another important factor to consider is the length of your keyword phrase. Research has shown that over a third of all search engine queries use a 2-word phrase. The next most popular is the 3-word string (26%), followed by 1-word (19%), 4-word (~13%), and finally 5-word (~6%).
Knowing these statistics is another important step in formulating the right keywords for your articles.

TIP 2: Pay Attention to Keyword Density

There is a fine line between too much keyword usage and too little. Too much will cause a search engine algorithm to cast you out as spam. Not enough will leave you hanging forever in internet land with no traffic to your site.
Therefore, it is just as important to use keywords in your article as it is to not use them. A general rule of thumb for keyword density is 3%-5%. Consider finding a program such as DupeFree Pro that will help you generate keyword analytics to test your articles.

TIP 3: Don't Ignore the Art of Writing

One of the mistakes that a lot of early SEO made was in creating what is known as black hat SEO. Rather than concentrate on quality of content, marketers and webmasters stuffed articles with keywords, spun them with programs or cheap labor and reposted their useless, barely readable information.
This creates a problem from the user's perspective since they get no substance from the pages they click. It creates a problem from the search engine's perspective because leading users to these pages creates distrust in their results. Finally, it creates problems from the business's perspective because people don't want to buy from people they don't understand.
The bottom line here is that rankings are important, but they are not everything. Once you have determined what you want to write (keywords) you need to then determine how you want to write it. That means creating content geared towards human beings, not algorithms.

TIP 4: Keep Your Business Goals in Mind

When writing good SEO articles, the ultimate end game needs to be apparent and focused upon. Only you know what you want from readers, be it a quick sale or a long-term relationship. Therefore, the content of your article and its marketing pitch need to be on par with those goals.
Your online enterprise needs to have a clear business plan that will drive the content and the purpose of your articles. Remember, it is not all about the rankings here, you need to bear in mind other objectives too.
Conclusion: SEO and You
Writing SEO articles to build your rank on search engines is an absolute must for anyone who wants to engage in an online business. Therefore, you need to clearly evaluate what you need in terms of these articles and whether you, your partners, or an outside contractor is the right person to deliver it.
Being on top of the search engine is a breeze if you know the right steps to take. It is not that easy if you are a newbie and doesn't know how and where to start. You can search people and look for SEO experts who can manage to put your website on top of search engines such as Google and Yahoo. You can also learn techniques from them that might be helpful for you in the future.

Getting ranked highly in the search engines is easy if you know the right steps to take. SEO Article Writing is the first thing you should be concentrating on doing.
Why Search Engine Optimization companies charge a fortune
Because they can!  More details
Search Engine optimization companies can charge their clients a small fortune to get them on Page 1 or 2 of the search engines. Put in perspective however, if they are getting you on page 1 of Google, your telephone will certainly ring red hot and people will be ordering by the bucket load if your website is designed well. Put this way, what SEO companies charge is not so bad if you consider what it can do for your business.
One thing that I can reveal they use extensively is SEO article writing and marketing. SEO article writing provides a quick and easy way for companies to whizz you up the search engines with minimum effort on their part. The most difficult part can in many be cases be generating an invoice to post to you!
Here I am going to show you how they do it quickly and effectively, and how you can achieve exactly the same without the expensive consultancy fees.More details
What You Need to Know about Search Engines and How to Rank well
All search engines rank your website in their results based on their own complicated algorithm. The number of these factors usually numbers over 100 and nobody really knows what they all are - we can only eliminate and find out by trial and error. What you need to know though, is that by FAR the MOST powerful of these factors is having other websites create and add links to their site, pointing to your website.
If you consider this for a moment, it makes logical sense. If a website has chosen to add a link pointing to your website, the owner of the website probably liked your website enough to add a link to it - and the search engines agree with this. I cannot understate that the more QUALITY links you have from other websites pointing back to yours can make a MASSIVE difference as to whether your website appears on page 1 of Google or not at all. SEO article marketing is one of the best ways to do this.
Getting started with SEO Article Writing More details
SEO Article writing is usually done by writing a single or couple of articles around the keyword(s) you are targeting, with a link to your website at the bottom of the article. You then post these articles to a combination of blogs and article directories which then creates links back to your website. The search engines will usually find and index the article in their database. Each link back to your website counts as a "vote" to your website. The problem with this however, is that each link gets a value, or "weight" judged by the search engines. As you have posted duplicate articles with links back to your site, the weight of these links will be lower than if each and every article was unique.
How to make your SEO article writing links Count! More details
The most effective method of article marketing is to post unique articles for each and every article you post. This mean that the search engines see this all as fresh and unique content and will love the links to your site. When you put your unique links alongside duplicate links you can be sure that the unique links will carry more weight. They will also help your website rank higher and much faster than your competitors' websites. You can even outsource your article writing to save that job as well!
The best choice is an automated distribution service that posts your unique articles slowly and over a period of time to look more natural to the search engines.
How do I do unique SEO Article Writing with minimum fuss? More details
Does writing hundreds of unique articles sound like a drag and likely to consume days of your time? I have recently used this SEO Article Writing service which can cut hours off the time needed. Don't wait until tomorrow, start your article marketing now! I recently used this service for my own website which is in the ultra-competitive website design field. You can be sure my competitors are looking to get one step ahead which is why I have not shared my keywords, but in just over 1 month, I am on page 1 of Google for 2 major keywords. To say I am over the moon is an understatement.

Take Your Small Biz Videos to the Next Level with Viewbix

Now that you’ve started recording YouTube videos to promote your website or small business, you can take your video marketing to the next level by enhancing those videos with interactive applications powered by Viewbix. I first heard about Viewbix from Vernessa Taylor and right away I was impressed by how Viewbix can transform an ordinary video, from YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook, into a powerful marketing tool that can help increase traffic, sales and conversions. Here’s the description of Viewbix taken from their website:
Viewbix lets you add interactive apps and calls-to-action to your videos. The apps put dynamic content on top of your YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook videos to create a rich viewing experience that engages viewers and can be shared across the web, social and mobile platforms.
Viewbix in Action
Take a glance at the video I’ve embedded below. It looks very similar to a typical YouTube video but up at the top, you’ll notice a very striking difference. There’s a blue border with the name of the video and a clickable-hyperlinked button that says “Get Viewbix”, and that’s not the only thing that stands out. Glance over on the right hand side and you will see several icons. Each of those icons represents a customized Viewbix generated application that I created in what’s called “Viewbix Studio”. You can learn all about “The Studio” and take a quick tour of the interface in the video I recorded called Viewbix Tutorial – Create Interactive Branded Videos with Calls to Action.
Breaking News! Viewbix just added AWeber to the Apps list!
Adam Riemer, the affiliate manager for Viewbix, talked about its advantages for the mobile market and the proven effectiveness of the clickable calls to action in a post on the GrowMap blog.
Marketers have tried things like using rich media or flash, but those don’t always work for mobile devices all the time. You could try adding in a url to the video, but that isn’t a real or solid call to action and people won’t always type the url in. Instead they search for a product name. That is why a new tool called Viewbix came out and is catching on so quickly…Because you can add in clickable calls to action and show videos and images of your products, you can now measure the effectiveness and reach of your video campaigns.
Custom Viewbix Webpage
One of my favorite features of Viewbix is this personalized webpage (see below) that is created for each and every one of the Viewbix enhanced videos. This is great option to showcase your product video on it’s own page which includes additional information about the featured product along with your latest tweets.

How to Build Facebook Page Timeline Apps with Lujure

As a blogger, you can compare creating custom Facebook apps with Lujure to creating custom plugins for your WordPress blog. That’s the best analogy I can think of to express how highly flexible Lujure is, and since I started using it, I’m actually starting to like Facebook now. I know, it’s hard to believe I’m saying this, because I’ve been complaining about how annoyed I get when Facebook  makes changes to their platform. And I’m sure you have wanted to scream and pull your hair out just like all the other Facebook users – not to mention the headaches all these changes cause for most Facebook page owners and developers. But when Facebook introduced Timeline for pages I started to relax a little, I felt a little grin come across my face, and I even said to myself “this is kinda cool”. Then Amy Porterfield mentioned Lujure in one of her recent webinars, and now I’m hooked on using Facebook and I’m beginning to I feel like a total Facebook junkie!
Lujure is to Facebook, just as Plugins are to WordPress
Lujure is a really feature rich service that will help you get the most out of your Facebook page by giving it a ton of added functionality. You can build apps with optin forms, squeeze pages, Google maps, Skype, YouTube videos, RSS feeds – just about everything from soup to nuts and best of all you can create your first Facebook app with Lujure for free! Now I think you’re starting to see why I compare Lujure to WordPress plugins, but proceed with caution because pretty soon you’ll be hooked too.

This image represents the number of  widgets you can currently add to apps from the Lujure library and just imagine all the possibilities this opens up for expanding your network on Facebook. After you build your first free app, you’ll find that Lujure offers affordable pricing, starting at $30 per month for the Consultant Plan which I signed up for right after creating my first application. Lujure also has an affiliate network and I joined the program right away as well.
The Lujure HTML Widget
During the evolution of Facebook pages, about a year ago, Facebook did away with the FBML templates and everyone converted to  the more popular iFrame tabs. Lujure has a nifty iFrame widget, which is the one everyone “oohed and aahed” over in Amy Porterfield’s webinar (including your’s truly). Lujure’s iFrame app is one of my favorites because you can drag an entire web page right into your Facebook Page with the iFrame. It’s so easy to build an application with the iFrame widget, you simply add the URL of the webpage right inside the wigdet and drag the frame to fit the page. Sounds super awesome right! You can build a page in less than 60 seconds flat. No kidding and absolutely NO CODING involved.
However, for this video I wanted to do something a little more challenging, to really show off how you can do just about anything you want with Lujure’s HTML widget. After all, this is my third video and latest entry in Barry Well’s internet marketing video challenge so I had to step up my game a bit  Let me know if you think I did just that because in this video I’m going to show you how to add an Aweber broadcast newsletter right on your Facebook page app. HA!

How to Get More Traffic from YouTube

Each day, YouTube gets massive amounts of traffic on the internet, but what I’d like to share with you in this post, are a few tips that I’ve used to get traffic from YouTube – back to my blog. With a few simple steps you can get traffic coming to your blog from YouTube also and best of all this is all, each and every one of these techniques is absolutely 100% free.

The key to getting traffic from YouTube

It’s no secret that video marketing is one of the best ways to promote your blog and your brand. Create a video that’s educational, artistic, funny, entertaining or interesting enough to capture the attention of your audience, and you’ve just made a new fan who can’t wait to subscribe to your YouTube channel or share your video on social networks with family and friends. You might even be the next YouTube sensation like my friend Lisa Irby, but at the end of the day, what you really want is for people to take enough of an interest in you that they take the time to subscribe to your channel and eventually visit your website or blog.
The simplest way to get those adoring fans from YouTube back over to your site is by asking. I know you
might think that goes without saying, but there are lots of people who post videos on YouTube and never even mention their blogs and in some cases they don’t even have a blog. So don’t think people will go searching for your website on Google. At some point during the video tell them exactly where to go.
In the video I share with you:
Traffic from YouTube in my WordPress stats
Backlinks from YouTube in Google Webmaster Tools
Linkbuilding techniques for your website and email list in your video description
Secret YouTube page about your blog (this is a hidden gem that you MUST SEE)
Stay tuned to my YouTube channel because this video is part of an Internet Marketing Video Challenge sponsored by fellow blogger and YouTuber Barry Wells. If you want to take part in the challenge or check out the awesome videos from some of the other contestants, head over to Barry’s blog for all the details. Writing SEO articles

Writing SEO articles sounds very scary to new Webmasters, but let me tell you that it really is easy. It is simply a matter of following some very common guidelines.
This does not mean that you have to write like a machine just to please the search engines though, as writing for the people first should always be your number one concern. The art of writing SEO articles is having the ability to please both the search engines and your website visitors. The key is to incorporate these necessary SEO content rules into your articles without the human visitor noticing.
#1—It All Starts With a Title
I know everyone is probably sick of hearing this, but the title of your post is the most important part of your whole article. It is what people see that could possibly entice them to click on your link. Your title is the major advertising point for your article. Human visitors will see this listed in the search engines, hopefully higher rankings, and they will also see it on your blog, your RSS feeds, your CommentLuv links and many other places.
Including your top keywords in your title is also important. This gives the reader a clue as to what your article is about and should expect relating content on the page. This is also helps with your rankings in the search engines, but if people don’t click on your link, then you will drop out fast. That is exactly why the title is the most important part of writing SEO content.
#2—Use Heading Tags Throughout
This practice started out for simply search engine optimization purposes, however now it seems that readers like to see subheadings as well, to break up the content into easy readable chunks.
No one likes to see a big block of text and nothing else. This looks unprofessional and appears to have no care taken on the formatting of the article. In fact an ill formatted article closely resembles spam or mass produced articles. This is not the perception that you want to create.
Therefore I like to sprinkle heading tags throughout the article. This article can be used as an example.
The title of the article is a heading 1 <H1> tag and contains the keyword.
The subtitles are <H2> or <H3> and randomly contain a keyword.
There are many more details I could mention here so I have prepared a free SEO report for you to download. No signup required! (If you are on my list you may already have this.)
#3—Keywords in Your SEO Articles
To enforce the signal of your keyword rich title and subheadings, you need to sprinkle your keyword throughout the article. Now this is probably more for the search engines than the humans and it is important that the human does not overly notice these keywords.
The reason we do this is to tell Google that this article is about a particular keyword. This technique will not directly make you rank higher in Google but it will tell them what your article is about.
The usual practice is to add a keyword to both your first and last paragraph and also scattered in amongst your content. Never overdo your keywords as you will be classed as a spammer.
#4—Related Keywords Rock!
This is one thing that people neglect to do when writing SEO articles, they often forget to include related keywords. They simply fill their article with keyword after keyword after keyword, with no variations, or any interesting differences.
I like to research my main keyword and grab all the related keywords and use them in my article as well. This really enforces the topic that you are talking about and also helps you write a far more informational article. It is amazing when you research and find related keywords. This process really opened your eyes to what you should be talking about with your topic. I like to use the keyword winner WordPress plug-in to find the best related keywords from right inside my WordPress dashboard. In fact I am so impressed with this product, I wrote a Keyword Winner review, detailing how I use this to get my articles ranking high.
#5—Proof Read Your SEO Articles!
Did you know that Ernest Hemingway said, “The first draft of anything is shit.” Take some time to proof read your article before publishing, as the human visitors can be very critical of small errors. This is easy to do if you always keep in mind that you are writing for the humans and only optimizing your content for the search engines.
I always like to remember, that without humans, there would be no search engines in the first place. In the end, the search engines only read the human’s actions to gauge whether your article is worthy of ranking or not. So proof read your article and look at it from a human point of view. Hopefully you still remember how to do that.
